Tile is forever - if it's set on proper prep with full support under every piece. That underneath part is where we're fanatics.

Why tile fails, and why ours doesn't

Cracked tiles and crumbling grout trace back to what's underneath: flexing subfloors, skipped decoupling membranes, and thinset applied in dabs instead of full coverage. We stiffen and flatten first, use membranes where movement demands them, and back-butter large format so every tile is fully supported. Set right, tile outlives the house around it.

Layouts are planned before mixing a bag - centered, balanced, and with cuts hidden where eyes don't go.

Common questions

Are big tiles harder to install?

Much - flatness tolerances shrink and lippage shows. It's a specialty we've built; bring on the 24x48s.

Is heated tile floor worth it?

Ask anyone who has it. In bathrooms it's a modest add during install and the single most-loved upgrade we do.

Why is my old grout always cracking?

Movement below or wrong grout for the joint. We diagnose before regrouting - otherwise you're repainting the same crack.
