Luxury Vinyl Plank

Waterproof, kid-proof, dog-proof - and genuinely good-looking now. LVP is the honest answer for the rooms real life happens in.

Why LVP took over

  • Fully waterproof - kitchens, baths, basements and mudrooms without worry
  • Tough wear layers that shrug off claws, chairs and cleats
  • Convincing wood and stone visuals - guests will touch it to check
  • Warmer and quieter underfoot than tile
  • Click-lock installs fast over most existing floors
  • Best value per year of any modern flooring

The grade and the prep are everything

The LVP horror stories - gapping seams, dented planks, drummy hollow spots - are almost always thin product on bad prep. We install quality-grade plank with real wear layers, on subfloors flattened to spec, with proper expansion gaps and transitions. Same product family the builders' showhomes use, installed the way the spec sheet demands.

We'll also tell you when LVP is the wrong call - sun-baked rooms and certain slabs have caveats - because floors that fail don't refer their friends.

Common questions

Is LVP really waterproof?

The planks are. Flooded-basement water can still get beneath any floating floor - waterproof means spills and dogs bowls are non-events, not that it's a boat.

What wear layer should I look for?

For busy homes, 20 mil is the confident zone. We stock and recommend at that grade - thinner product exists, and we'll tell you what it trades away.

Can it go over my existing floor?

Often yes - tile, vinyl and wood can stay if flat and sound. That saves demolition money we'd rather you spend on grade.

Floors that don't flinch.
